Briefs in Comics

A pair of poor test subjects.  

Eddie Brock reunites with Venom. Not sure if he wears clothes in prison, not that I mind, but this scene is really sweet.   

A very cool find, Peter wearing big white briefs in a newspaper strip. Easily the best issue I'd say. 

I think the last canon/main universe appearance of Peter's signature white briefs (cause Marvel has no taste going forward). Unfortunately it is a flashback, and more unfortunately, during OMD. At least we get a hot view.  Hopefully Marvel provides us with new material of our favourite wall-crawling brief guy.   

Nothing to see here Peter, just Eddie chilling by the fire in his undies with his alien husband. Even he notices how close they are.   

Another instance of Eddie losing control of the Symbiote suit, resulting in him being left in his tighty whities (again).   

A classic fight between Spidey and Venom, which resulted in Peter saying "You want me? Then take me!" to the alien, while stripping off his costume to some red briefs. Eddie then loses the symbiote, but is knocked out from the strain of separation, and is also just as exposed.  And yet comics can't get any gayer than this.  This scene was also referenced again in Cosmic Ghost Rider Destroys Marvel History #2, where Peter instead is rocking his signature white briefs instead. A much better improvement if you ask me, plus Todd Nuack's adorable art. 

This one is difficult to tell, Peter could be wearing short shorts or a speedo, but I choose to believe the later. As grateful as I am for all the tighty whitie panels, I wouldn't have minded just as many of him in a speedo.   

Eddie losing the Venom suit after a run in with Scream (or Shriek? I can't tell the difference anymore). Unless Venom is preserving his dignity, he's just in some cute black briefs.   

Another and much clearer shot of Pietro recovering, only wearing some sexy white briefs.   

They're not really briefs but let me believe they are based on the following issue. Pietro looking pretty rough regardless.   

Love to see more diversity in the briefs wearers, this time beefy king Luke Cage. Hopefully he's still sticking with them while he's running New York.   

Just like Sam, Rich gets his own "caught in undies moment" only this time he was just wandering around the place in his tighty whities and a backwards cap. If that's not fashion i don't know what is.   

Another contender for best embarrassing generated costume moment. Sam heads to school and takes off his helmet, but forgot he was only in his cute black briefs underneath.   

Marc/Steve grapple with loving someone who only loves one of them. Marlene's a bit insensitive, even if I get where she's coming from. But at least the view's good, Marc or Steve really know how to rock them briefs.   

From my favourite comic of all time, though not my favourite underwear scene. Billy and Teddy share a tender moment before Teddy assumes his role as emperor of the Kree-Skrull Alliance.   If only the artist drew from a different angle, cause from the one zoomed out panel we can definitly see they're briefs (which gets annoyingly retconned in a later issue, edit of that pending). Please Marvel give my fav boys some good briefs content!  

Adore this issue and especially this scene of Johnny being Peter's house husband. Means he doesn't have to wear clothes while serving his man, or saving his man from a random portal.   

Clearly the green guy in the overalls wanted to see these heroes in their underwear, and I don't blame him. I do love they're all matching white briefs (except Ben).  

I honestly have no idea what the plan is here. Reed just strips and uses his costume as a flag. Not that I don't appreciate the view, they look nice and big on him.  

Johnny gets captured by some lil dudes who wanna use his power as an energy source. Which of course includes doing away with his clothes except his tighty whities, they gotta leave him with some dignity.  #263 #264  

Another scene of Eddie Brock losing his costume and being left in his tighty whities, never gets old.   

 Probbaly the longest sequence any character has been in tighty whities, so congrats Crossbones. And even better it's a fight scene.
