Briefs in Comics

Jonathan having a chemical bath in his tiny black briefs, before going on a date with Triathlon (at least I hope so), both of them looking pretty dapper I must say.  Although I NEED art of Jonathan in briefs when he's looking like:

 Namor waking up from a WWII era nightmare, involving his husband that Marvel doesn't wanna acknowledge (seriously, the flashbacks were so gay). Since Namor annoyingly wears a full costume in  present day, it's good to know he sleeps in briefs, or a speedo considering it's underwater. At least that's something!

 Back when Marvel made Hanna-Barbera comics, the mystery for this issue is Mystery Inc. fighting off a surfer ghost, with some help with the cast of Captain Caveman (one of Scooby-Doo's many clone shows).   They start at the beach, with Fred rocking a bright blue speedo. Oh I'm in love *fans self*. He and Scooby go surfing, until they are attacked by a poor man's Iceman costume.  The gang go investigate around, and see a trio of hunky surfers in speedos (Fred's still hotter). And learn from this weaseley guy about some surfing videos, involving a cave.   So Mystery Inc and the Teen Angels go investigate the cave, and get attacked by the Surfer Ghost. Captain Caveman is captured by accident.  I love that shot of Fred walking. I love him so freaking much. The gang go investigate further with Rowby, and later find the outfit. Fred is wearing a shirt but one panel shows he's just wearing a speedo underneath.  Spoilers, but the gang (or Fred) figure ou...

None of the characters show up in swimwear in the actual story, but at least they're looking good on the cover! Just wish we got a better look at some of them...   

 I absolutely despise the X-Statix/X-Cellent line that spun out of X-Force. It's a gross, miserable time. Buries characters (especially gays) like no other book, besides maybe Krakoan X-Men but at least they resurrect.  The only good thing is Vivisector. One, he's a cute werewolf like Beast. Two. wears tighty whities (like Beast), and 3, is canonically gay. I love him so freaking much, but of course this section of the universe hates me. At least we got this out of it earlier on. I'm not sure the context, some lady took their clothes away in front of a live studio audience after a fight.
